Food can make or break your ascent. The hiker rolls into the shelter near dusk, exhausted. Too tired to cook or even retrieve water for the night, he or she erects their tent and go to bed. Eating after a long day of hiking is important. Monitor food and water intake always. Without proper nutrients, your amazing camping trip will simply be an exhausting endeavor.

Basic concept of trekking is "If your feet are happy, the rest of you is happy". Trust me, neither you nor your feet will by happy if you begin a big trip with untested shoes or boots. Starting weeks ahead of time, you need to break them in while mowing the lawn, walking the dog, or running errands around town. Trail shoes, which perform more like athletic footwear, conform quickly to your feet, while taller, rigid boots require more break-in time.
Mistake no.3: Not using trekking pole properly

Trekking poles and hiking staffs are standard equipment for many walkers, hikers, trekkers, backpackers and snowshoes. The reasons why are simple: They enhance your stability and provide support on all types of terrain.Trekking poles and hiking staffs will not decrease your overall energy expenditure since you'll be using your arms more than you would when walking without poles. They do, however, help distribute your energy usage in a way that can help your hiking endurance.

Packing too much means you will be carrying a lot of unnecessary weight that can lead to a sore back and muscle strain. This is the most notorious mistake of a beginner backpacker.Evaluating your gear beforehand will lighten your load and make packing easier. Start with handling every single item you want to carry and
acknowledge the weight. Give yourself a shakedown. If unaware about packing kindly ask for experience trekker.

A little rain isn’t a reason to cancel a hike. That’s why we have Gore-Tex boots and waterproof jackets, right? But even the best equipment can’t provide 100 percent protection from the soggy remnants of a hurricane or an Arctic-born blizzard. So before every trip consider weather before to start.
